Points Missing from Export (CSV / DXF)
Overview
If measured points disappear from the screen or are missing from exported CSV or DXF files, the cause is typically a filter setting, an incorrect export configuration, or a corrupted project file.
Step 1: Check the Points Filter
- Navigate to the Points list page.
- Tap the Filter button.
- Ensure that the appropriate point types are selected: Measured, Imported, and/or Constructed.
- If some types were unselected, re-enable them and check whether your points reappear.
Step 2: Check Export Settings
- Tap the Job button (top left).
- Select Export (right side).
- Choose the export location (External Storage or internal).
- Select your desired formats (CSV, DXF, etc.).
- Tap Options to verify that all required point types are included in the export.
Step 3: Reset Settings to Default
If export options appear misconfigured:
- Go to Menu > Settings > Reset to Default.
- Re-attempt the export.
Step 4: Test with a New Project
If points are still missing, the original project file may be corrupted:
- Create a new project in iCON Trades.
- Enter a few test measurements.
- Export the new project and verify the points appear correctly.
- If the new project exports correctly but the original does not, the original project is likely corrupted. Contact support for assistance recovering data.
