Export Units Mismatch (Feet vs. Metric)

Overview

If your exported CSV or DXF files show incorrect unit values, the cause is that the distance units in iCON Trades are not set to match your CAD software's expected units. Exported files reflect the distance unit setting configured within iCON Trades — not the Android system settings.

How to Set Distance Units in iCON Trades

  1. In iCON Trades, open Menu.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Locate the Distance Units setting.
  4. Set the units to match what your CAD software expects (e.g., Feet or Meters).
  5. Re-export your data and verify the values are correct.

Notes

  • Always confirm your distance unit setting in iCON Trades before beginning a project to ensure exports will be compatible with your CAD workflow.
  • If values still appear incorrect after changing the units, try exporting to a new file and re-importing in your CAD software.
