Understanding iCON iCS LED Status Indicators

Overview

The iCON iCS has three LED indicators on the instrument that communicate connection status, leveling status, and battery level. Understanding what each LED means can help you quickly identify issues without needing to check the tablet.

Connection Status LED

Permanently redNot connected to tablet
Flashing blueEstablishing Wi-Fi connection
Permanently blueWi-Fi or USB connected to tablet

Level Status LED

LED BehaviorMeaning
Flashing greenLeveling process in progress
Permanently greenInstrument is leveled and ready
Flashing redMovement detected — leveling no longer valid
Permanently redMove alert switched off

Battery Status LEDs

Press the battery check button on the base of the instrument to check the current battery level. The LEDs turn off automatically after 2 seconds.

Running on Battery

Spotlight LED

When the spotlight is active, all spotlight LEDs will show static white.
