Understanding iCON iCS LED Status Indicators
Overview
The iCON iCS has three LED indicators on the instrument that communicate connection status, leveling status, and battery level. Understanding what each LED means can help you quickly identify issues without needing to check the tablet.
Connection Status LED
| LED Behavior | Meaning |
|---|
| Permanently red | Not connected to tablet |
| Flashing blue | Establishing Wi-Fi connection |
| Permanently blue | Wi-Fi or USB connected to tablet |
Level Status LED
| LED Behavior | Meaning |
|---|
| Flashing green | Leveling process in progress |
| Permanently green | Instrument is leveled and ready |
| Flashing red | Movement detected — leveling no longer valid |
| Permanently red | Move alert switched off |
Battery Status LEDs
Press the battery check button on the base of the instrument to check the current battery level. The LEDs turn off automatically after 2 seconds.
Running on Battery

| All LEDs flashing white | ≤ 10% — charge soon |
| One LED permanently white | 10–25% |
| Two LEDs permanently white | 25–50% |
| Three LEDs permanently white | 50–75% |
| All LEDs permanently white | 75–100% |
Charging (plugged into power supply)

| Two permanently white, one flashing | Charging 50–75% |
| Three permanently white, one flashing | Charging 75–100% |
| All LEDs permanently white | Fully charged |
Spotlight LED
When the spotlight is active, all spotlight LEDs will show static white.
