Invalid License Key Error on Leica 3D Disto

Problem

When entering your license key for the Leica 3D Disto software, you receive the error: "Please enter a valid license key. Please contact your local support."

Cause

This error typically occurs for one of the following reasons:

  • Expired or lapsed license – Your license key is tied to an active Customer Care Package (CCP). If the CCP has expired, the key is no longer valid.
  • No active CCP on file – The 3D Disto requires a current CCP to generate a valid license key. If you have never purchased one, or it has lapsed, a new key cannot be issued.
  • Incorrect key entry – Double-check that the key was entered exactly as provided, with no extra spaces or character substitutions (e.g., 0 vs O, 1 vs I).

Solution

To receive a valid license key, you must have an active 1-year Customer Care Package (CCP) for the Leica 3D Disto.

  2. Email Advanced Dimensions your unit serial number along with proof of purchase.
  3. We will deliver your license key within 24 hours.

Notes

The Leica 3D Disto has been discontinued by Leica Geosystems. The CCP provides a license key and access to limited Leica support. Software updates are no longer available for this unit.
