I have the E7500i and the smart BT or the owners manual says it connects to your phone, tablet, etc. Now it does when using the app. I just want to use the blueprints I have and shoot my measurements onto them. I had the X4 Disto, worked like a charm. This one, well my samsung flip 5, S9 & S6 see's the disto but won't connect. Something about low energy and it may need the app for this. Like I said, the app works but I use my blueprints via Adobe or one drive. I normally input text to the plans. I never had a issue with the X4. The E7500i and D510 are supposed to be of the same. IDK if the D510 will give me the same issue. Is any body else having this problem?
